Works required strip out of the external chrome stair handrails, external and internal light fittings, porter’s door, carpets, wallpaper, wall and floor finishes to the lift car, and the central plaster ceiling rose.
Internally, the works included repairs to all communal hallways, stairways and the lift cars, including full strip of papered walls and ceilings, installation of new electrical circuits and light fittings, making good, plastering and repainting.
Previously varnished areas to the flat doors, cupboard doors, architraves and skirting boards were re-varnished to a high spec.
After removing the carpet, we repaired and restored the newly exposed marble tiles and installed a new marble shelf with metal support on the ground floor.
Externally, we removed the lettering over the main entrance door, resprayed and reinstalled it, as well as installing a new awning and entrance matting.
