“External repairs to the Grade II listed chapel, lych gate and other areas of an independent school”
The school were let down by another contractor, so we were approached to deliver a large volume of work at short notice, to keep the buildings wind and weather tight.
• We delivered repointing, stone repairs and replacement of cast iron gutters to the Chapel.
• Our work also included major conservation repairs to the timber, stone, clay tile and masonry of the historic Lych Gate.
• Other works included replacement of the lead roof and broken roof tiles and damp course render, window repairs in the cloisters, and bird netting in the Dean’s Hall.
