The first phase was to the rear façade, which directly overlooks the river. We completed the application to the Port of London Authority for a licence to foot the scaffold on the riverbank, carefully planned and erected taking the timing of the high and low tides into account.
As well as delivering traditional repairs to roofs, masonry, balconies, windows, doors, gutters and railings, we restored and redecorated the cranes which are a decorative feature of the building from its history as a wharf building.
The second phase was to the street facing front façade, and we completed this phase over 4 weeks ahead of schedule, to the delight of the residents and client alike. As well as external repairs, we installed a new awning over the front entrance and CCTV.
What really set them apart is their partnership approach to working. The team genuinely cares about doping a good job for the client.
